Time to relax at Music On The Marr
It’s not often I get a chance to go to a festival these days. A good few years ago, I was a regular trader at local events such as Solfest and enjoyed all the activities they bring. However, as work gets busier we all seem to have less time and don’t often make room for fun!
Last month I was offered some display space at Music On The Marr near Brampton and decided I would certainly go. This is a small folk festival based in north Cumbria and is known locally for its easy going and relaxed atmosphere. Local artists, Hadrians Union will be playing, as well as more international ones such as the duo, Larkin Poe. Locally brewed beer will be aplenty and there is even a hog roast on the opening evening!
The exhibition will be in the neighbouring village hall and I will be showing a full selection of my latest work – including the ever popular natural edge yew bowls! This will be open to visitors as well as festival goers, so maybe I’ll so you there…
