Some of my recent projects
I’ve been working on a few orders of late – some of which will be heading quite far away…
The photo above shows a set of serving boards, which I’ve just completed for Soho House in London. These are made from a variety of woods and feature both hand shaped and natural edges. They’ve proved to be extremely popular in their restaurants, as an alternative to smaller side dishes.
The natural edge ash bowls shown below are for an artisan restaurant in Greece. These are sourced from a local tree and have just been roughed out ready for drying. They all have evidence of rippled grain, so should look great when sanded and oiled up…
I’m back into the workshop now, as I have a load of cherry bowls to rough out. Cherry is certainly an attractive timber and I’ll be posting some photo’s of them soon…
