Here’s a sneak preview of a new piece I’ve just been making. Pictured is a small natural edge yew bowl being turned on the lathe – it looks tiny compared to the one featured in my last blog post! Also in the pipeline are some burr oak fruit bowls which look simply gorgeous and a small natural edge elm burr.

I guess my favourite one of all has to be the burr yew shallow fruit bowl, which looks simply stunning. It’s turned from the same tree as the large natural edge bowl featured on my website and has the same beautiful colours and grain. It’s just been oiled and will soon be appearing on the website…
